As part of the collaboration, an episode titled ‘Vain elämää: Red Cross Day’ was aired to collect donations for the Red Cross’s work in Finland.
The episode will feature touching stories of people helped by the Red Cross. It shows how donors and volunteers help reduce loneliness through friendship programs, assist young people at Youth Shelters, and support the underprivileged with communal food aid.
– Being at home is lonely. Here, there are friends, opinions, and you can express yourself. You can experience some similarity with others, says a man who received help from the food aid program in the episode.
During the episode, artists Eini, Costello Hautamäki, Marko Hietala, Ilta, Hanna Pakarinen, Jussi Rainio, Roope Salminen, and Waldo share their own experiences of loneliness and encourage viewers to donate.
