"Everyone should definitely watch the Red Cross episode"
The touching and entertaining “Vain elämää: Finnish Red Cross Day” episode shows how the Red Cross reduces loneliness with the support of donors and volunteers.
This fall’s season of “Vain elämää" will feature a loneliness-themed episode on November 22 at 8 PM, raising donations for the Red Cross’s work in Finland.
The episode will feature touching stories of people helped by the Red Cross. It shows how donors and volunteers help reduce loneliness through friendship programs, assist young people at Youth Shelters, and support the underprivileged with communal food aid.
– Being at home is lonely. Here, there are friends, opinions, and you can express yourself. You can experience some similarity with others, says a man who received help from the food aid program in the episode.
During the episode, artists Eini, Costello Hautamäki, Marko Hietala, Ilta, Hanna Pakarinen, Jussi Rainio, Roope Salminen, and Waldo share their own experiences of loneliness and encourage viewers to donate. The episode also features Ronn Moss from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” who has an important message for all viewers.
– Everyone should definitely watch the Red Cross episode because it has amazing surprises, great performances, touching stories, and it also tells you how you can participate and help, summarizes Hanna Pakarinen.
