Coping as a family caregiver

Every day, the Finnish Red Cross works to help people and promote humanity. This work is also carried out by thousands of family caregivers who take care of their loved ones with considerable effort. We highly value the work that family caregivers do and wish to offer our support.

Our support activities for family caregivers strengthen and promote the health, quality of life and independent everyday life of family caregivers and their families.

The services are intended for anyone caring for a family member or loved one at home regardless of whether they receive municipal informal care support.

We organise support activities for family caregivers at dozens of locations.
