Talking about loneliness online peer groups

In the Talking about loneliness online peer group, you can share thoughts and experiences with others who feel lonely.
In the Talking about loneliness online peer group, you have the opportunity to:
- deepen your understanding of loneliness
- meet new people and share experiences with them
- strengthen your self-confidence
- find your strengths and alleviate the experience of loneliness
The peer group programme includes guided and informal discussions. Trained Red Cross volunteers ensure the safe atmosphere of the peer groups.
The group meets once a week for a total of eight times. Each meeting lasts approximately 90 minutes. The groups can be either closed video meetings or open chat discussions.
The peer group is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. Participation in the group is free of charge, but we wish the participants to be motivated and committed to the group for the entire period of activity.
Currently, we offer groups in Finnish, but we also organize them in English and Swedish as needed.
