Identify and Act navigator
Test what you would do! How would you act if someone insulted your teammate in the middle of a practice or game? Or if your friend at school had to hear racist remarks disguised as jokes?
The Identify and Act navigator for young people advises you what to do in situations where too many of us stay silent and wait for someone else to speak up against racist behaviour. In the navigator, children and young people share their own experiences. The navigator will show you how to do the right thing and how to boldly stand by their side.
How to use the navigator
First, you get to immerse yourself in the scenario, after which you are tasked with selecting the option that matches what you would do and how you would react. There are no right or wrong answers.
You can also go back and review your responses to see how different courses of action would impact the situation.
By using the navigator, you will receive information and concrete tips for speaking up against racism and discrimination at school, in your hobbies, at home and in public spaces.
