19:00 For Thursday's evening activities, we will be taking a 10-minute ferry ride to the island of Lonna. The ferry is scheduled to leave at 19:00 from the Helsinki Market Square. Please be there at 18:45 at the latest to ensure you make it on board.
You can travel to the Helsinki Market Square independently and meet the rest of the group there or, alternatively, we will arrange two joint departures to get to the market square:
- At 18:00, you can join a group that will travel to the Helsinki Market Square on foot. By joining this group, you can enjoy a scenic walking tour through the city. Meeting point in the lobby of the Scandic Park hotel. You do not need to register to take part in the tour — everyone is welcome to join. - At 18:15, a second group will travel to the Helsinki Market Square by tram. The meeting point is in the lobby of the Scandic Park hotel.
19:30 Dinner at Lonna's restaurant (included in the Skillshare budget, drinks excluded). Come and enjoy the beauty of the Finnish archipelago while having a delicious meal.
20:30 An authentic Finnish sauna will be available for use in Lonna from 20:30 until 22:30. Remember to bring your swimsuit and a towel!
Return boats from Lonna to Helsinki city center depart at 20:45, 21:45, 22:45, and 23:45.

SATURDAY 25.5.
11.30 World Village Festival. Come join us at the World Village Festival, a free event focusing on global action, culture, and sustainable development.
At this event, the Finnish Red Cross will have set up a tent, where visitors are invited to take part in conversations and thought exercises on the topic of climate change. There will also be many other activities, including live interviews, food from different parts of the world as well as music, such as a performance by the Don Johnson Big Band at 13:15.
We will gather at the Finnish Red Cross tent (next to the entrance on Sörnäisten Rantatie) at 11:30. You can travel there by yourself or, alternatively, we will arrange a joint departure from the Scandic Park hotel to the festival venue. The meeting point of the joint departure is in the lobby of the hotel at 11:00.
